The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has issued a new ISO 45001 Occupational health and safety management system – Requirements with guidance for use. The publication of the new ISO 45001:2018 standard took place on 12 March 2018, and a three-year transition period for its implementation in companies was set from that date to 12.3.2021. The validity of certificates issued according to CSN OHSAS 18001: 2008 / BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 is established in parallel – the latest by 12.3.2021.
However due to the situation with the occurrence of COVID -19, it is possible to postpone the transition to the new version of the standard by 6 months, term till September 30, 2021 (see: https://iaffaq.com).
Based on the above change, certificates issued by our CB having an expiration date of March 12, 2021 may still be valid. For that reason and in order to verify the validity of a certificate you may contact us or use the option “Online Certificate Validity” in our webpage.
