Dear all,
Following the communication letter which has been sent on September 2022 regarding the new version (v6 “Smart”) of the GLOBALG.A.P. Scheme, which replaces version 5.2., we would like to inform you that based on Scheme’s requirements as well as those of our Accreditation Body (ESYD) and according to our procedures the following apply:
- All audits, after January 1st, 2024, will be conducted against the requirements of the new version of the standard.
Version 6 “Smart” is for the following scopes / certification schemes:
- Plants Scope, General Regulations v6:
- FV (Fruit and Vegetables)
- F&O (Flowers and Ornamentals)
- Hops
Plant scopes CC (Combinable Crops) and PPM (Plant Propagation Material) are under consultation and will continue to be certified under v5.2 until their addition to v6, for which you will be informed later.
Moreover, GLOBALG.A.P. add-ons* which will be assessed among with version 6 are:
- GRASP v2
- AH-DLL GROW Add-on v3.1
- BIO-DIVERSITY v1.1
- SPRING v2
*GLOBALG.A.P. add-ons are non-accredited

Important: Version 6 GFS is under the process to be validated / recognized by GFSI. Until then, version IFA v5.4-1 GFS continues to be valid.
